I kept this quiet for a while but I guess it’s time to talk.

Last sunday afternoon, my grandfather-in-law called saying that my grandmother suffered a mild stroke. Parents were down the hill since then, figuring out how she was recovering. So far from the tests and MRI, she was making a great recovery, with some rehab on the side. For being in her late 80s, not bad. Her right eye’s peripheral vision suffered, working at 75% and climbing. Memory is there, but from strokes, that’s still a cause for concern. Pretty much before the stroke, she did everything for her husband. Now she could not, or some of it.

So now, it’s up to me to take care of them, for the time being. I’m leaving Wednesday (8/6/14) for Temecula to be with them, to do what I can to support them. I’m planning for a week. I’ll still write, I’ll still learn to code, just with limited Internet connectivity.

Send some good thoughts my way, this year is not kind to my family.

I wish you, you grandmother, you grandfather-in-law and the rest of the family all the good luck in the world.
And hope grandmother become better or at least she die quick, painless and in peace. (i mean no nasty feelings with this)
